I Goon Moon sono una band nata dall'incontro tra Jeordie White (meglio conosciuto con lo pseudonimo di Twiggy Ramirez, bassista dei Marilyn Manson) e Chriss Goss (musicista legato a Qotsa, Kyuss, Masters of reality, Mondo generator).
Il gruppo ha all'attivo un mini-lp uscito nel 2005 e un full lenght datato 2007. I due album sono pieni di collaborazioni : possiamo trovare Josh Homme, Josh Freese (A perfect circle, Vandals), Zach Hill (Hella) .
Dopo il ritorno di White nei Marilyn Manson, il gruppo è andato in "vacanza".... nel senso che non c'è alcuna notizia di scioglimento e i fans attendono novità riguardanti nuove uscite discografiche.
