I Rival Sons sono una blues-rock band statunitense, proveniente da Los Angeles.
Nata nel 2008, la band ha autoprodotto il primo album l'anno seguente (Before the fire), disponibile in formato digitale.
La firma con la Earache Records avvenne nel corso del 2010.
Il secondo release è datato 2011, ed è intitolato "Pressure & time".
Ascoltare i Rival Sons equivale a fare un tuffo nel passato. Il rock degli anni 70 ha ispirato notevolmente la band, ma l'interpretazione in chiave moderna rende la band incredibilmente attuale.
