I Onesidezero nascono nel 1997. Il primo album, "Is this room getting smaller" esce nel 2001, dopo una lunga serie di demo e la firma per l'etichetta Maverick Records. Il genere suonato dalla band è un rock melodico, a volte identificabile nel post-grunge.
All'inizio del 2004 la band si scioglie, dato il poco successo raggiunto, e i componenti si dedicano ai propri side-project.
Alla fine dello stesso anno avviene la reunion , e dopo 3 anni di tour e preparazione, esce l'album omonimo, datato 2007.
Dagli ultimi aggiornamenti sulla pagina di Facebook del gruppo, sembrerebbe in corso di preparazione il terzo release dei Onesidezero.
