Gli Slaves on dope sono una band nu-metal di provenienza canadese nata nel 1993. Inizialmente il sound seguiva il filone grunge, ma ben presto devio' verso suoni piu' pesanti.
La band ha all'attivo due EP e 3 album , l'ultimo dei quali (Metafour) è datato 2003.
Negli anni seguenti il cantante Jason Rockman abbandono' il gruppo , menre il batteista e il bassista passarono agli Anew Revolution.
Nel 2009 Jason Rockman e Kevin Jardine decisero di riformare gli Slaves On Dope. Attualmente è in giro un nuovo video, e entro fine anno è prevista l'uscita di "Over the influence".
