Gli Hoobastank sono una band alternative-rock / post-grunge statunitense.
La band nacque nel 1994 dal cantante Doug Robb, Dan Estrin, dal batterista Chriss Hesse e dal bassista Markku Lappalainen (che abbandono' la band nel 2005).
L'album che lancio' gli Hoobastank verso il successo è stato "The Reason", del 2003.
Attualmente la band ha rilasciato un disco autoprodotto e 4 lp.
In totale gli Hoobastank hanno venduto oltre 10 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo.
