I Late of the Pier sono una delle band inglesi emergenti meglio considerate dell'intero panorama indie/alternative.
Il loro genere é considerato , piu' nello specifico, neo-prog o dance-punk. E' indubbio che a farla da padrone siano i sintetizzatori, usati, pero', in modo molto creativo.
Attualmente i Late of the Pier hanno rilasciato un solo album ufficiale, "Fantasy black channel", piu' diversi singoli ed EP.
I fans sono in attesa di nuovo materiale nel corso del 2011.
