I Linkin Park sono una famosissima band nu-metal statunitense (piu' precisamente di Los Angeles).
Dal disco di esordio , "Hybrid theory", la band ha scalato ripetutamente le classifiche, vendendo qualcosa come 60 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo, contribuendo notevolmente alla diffusione del genere nu-metal, grazie anche alla natura un po' piu' melodica delle loro canzoni e ai ripetuti passaggi su MTV.
La band è facilmente riconoscibile per la "doppia voce" dei cantanti Chester Bennington e Mike Shinoda, brand che ne ha caratterizzato la storia ed è stato piu' volte riprodotto da gruppi nati in seguito, per molti dei quali i Linkin Park hanno rappresentato un vero e proprio punto di riferimento.
Attualmente il gruppo ha all'attivo 4 album da studio (l'ultimo è "A Thousand suns" del 2010) , 2 dischi di remix e 2 live.
Recentemente i Linkin Park sono entrati a far parte della colonna sonora del film Transformers 3,
