I Rage Against the Machine sono una delle rockband piu' famose segli anni 90'. Originari della California, in quasi 10 anni di carriera hanno segnato indelebilmente la storia della musica rock, grazie al rap del vocalist Zack De La Rocha , la chitarra di Tom Morello, e testi taglienti polemici verso la guerra e verso il governo americano.
Bombtrack, Killing in the name , Bullet in the head... sono solo 3 dei capolavori contenuti in "Rage against the machine", omonimo album di esordio della band, ormai considerato pietra miliare della musica rock.
Anche i seguenti 2 album , "Evil Empire" e "The Battles of Los Angeles" , caratterizzati dalle stesse tematiche, sono tuttora considerati grandissimi successi.
L'ultimo disco é datato 2000. Il cantante Zack De la Rocha ha già abbandonato la band ma partecipa alla parte vocale di "renegades", album composto esclusivamente da cover.
